It does not replace the agreements or privacy notices governing an institution’s banking services. Information you provide

Depending on the form, you provide your name, email, phone number, organization, institution type, role, country, and your enquiry or career-interest details. Required fields are marked; optional fields may be left blank. We need the required contact and enquiry details to respond through the form. You can also contact us directly by email.

Please do not send account balances, customer records, passwords, PINs, national ID documents, or sensitive financial information through public forms.

Website and security information

Our hosting and delivery providers receive technical connection information when you visit or submit a form. Submission protection uses an IP-derived hash and counter with a ten-minute expiry; the counter does not contain your enquiry text.

Optional analytics sends the page path, referring website origin, and a temporary tab identifier only after you enable it. It excludes the query string and fragment from the visited page path. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable this analytics even if it was previously enabled.

Purposes and processing grounds

We use enquiry details to respond and discuss requested services, relying on pre-contractual steps where applicable and legitimate interests subject to your rights. Security processing protects the website. Optional analytics and device draft saving depend on your choice. A contact request does not subscribe you to promotional email.

Who receives information

Enquiries are delivered to the team handling your request. The current website uses Vercel for hosting, Zoho SMTP for email delivery, and Upstash Redis for short-lived submission counters. Enquiry content is sent by email; the counters are not a lead database. Temporary server memory also processes submissions and enabled analytics.

Browser connections to Google Fonts disclose technical connection information to Google. Additional team notifications may be used for configured sector enquiries. We do not sell enquiry data or publish it as a customer reference.

International processing

Website hosting, email delivery, fonts, and infrastructure providers can process information outside Ethiopia. Applicable transfer conditions and safeguards must be satisfied; this notice is not evidence of a regulator’s transfer approval. Contact us for information about the handling of your enquiry.

Storage and retention

Our retention policy for website enquiry and career-interest emails is six months from receipt. If an ongoing engagement or applicable legal requirement calls for a longer period, the relevant record follows that purpose and requirement. You can contact us to request deletion or ask about the period applying to your enquiry.

Optional drafts stay in this browser until cleared or successfully submitted. Analytics identifiers end with the tab session; closing a tab does not itself delete information already transmitted. Deleting a browser draft does not delete a previously submitted email. Submission counters expire after ten minutes.

Your privacy rights

Under applicable Ethiopian data-protection law, you may seek access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability where conditions apply. You may withdraw consent and complain to the Ethiopian Communications Authority. Exceptions can apply; we explain the reason when a request cannot be fulfilled.

Email contact@selamnow.com with the subject “Privacy request” and enough information to locate your enquiry. We may ask for proportionate identity verification. Do not email identity documents unless we arrange a secure method.

Automated decisions and security

This marketing website does not use your enquiry to make lending, KYC, or other regulated banking decisions. Automated submission limits can reject excessive requests; you can contact the team by email instead.

The website uses encrypted connections and submission controls. Please use the institution’s agreed secure channel for banking-service support and sensitive information.
